It can be a bit of a challenge to put together a project budget; to calculate the costs for an idea you’d like to turn into a reality, or apply for funding for your group or individual practice.
It’s a topic I get asked about a lot, and many of my mentoring clients will ask me to look over their budget before they submit it.
In this class I’ll cover:
The basic steps to creating a budget for your project
The main headings of a project budget
How to calculate staff time
What can and cannot be funded
What is Full Cost Recovery & how to incorporate core costs/running costs
How much to apply for
Gift in kind and match funding
Examples of creating a budget
