End of year reflections
December 2025
šš» Hello!
As we come to the end of another year, I wanted to say thank you for being here, for reading this newsletter, and for engaging so positively with the resources I share. It really means a lot, and I hope it continues to be helpful on your pursuit of meaningful, purpose-led work.
Iāll be enjoying some time with my close and extended family over the holiday period, but, as is the norm for us freelancers, I also have an early January bid deadline to meet - however, I often find the āhave to workā line a perfect excuse for getting out of one-too-many social gatherings!
For those of you in the not-for-profit sector, no doubt you have faced similar challenges to me and my clients this year - itās tough out there, particularly with fundraising. But one thing I know for sure is the resilience of the many people dedicated to keeping their organisation open and looking positively to the future.
Iām happy to share completely free access to my core fundraising course for anyone who would find this helpful to rise up and prepare for the year ahead.
āļø Reflection
There are a couple of exercises I like to do towards the end of the year, to reflect on the past 12 months, perhaps to learn what could have gone better, and to prepare for the year ahead. Here they are, with fillable PDFs if youād like to have a go yourself:
š Until next time
Thanks again for being here, and for supporting this Substack newsletter and YouTube channel. See you in 2026!
